CAS Watercolour Card November Reminder...Text!

It is time for the CAS Watercolour Card Challenge Reminder Cards from the Design Team.  You will be thrilled with all the inspiration...I know I was...!

Lately I have been practicing my watercolouring techniques with several new Penny Black slapstick/Cling stamps that are perfect for watercolouring using the Brushstroke Stamping Technique.  A MISTI is a must have with this technique.  I have watched (several times) the Brushstroke Stamping Technique Video sponsored by Penny Black and done by Jill Foster, which is 11:17 minutes and well worth every minute..

I used a 4" x 5 1/4" Fluid 100 Hot Press watercolor paper and placed it in my MISTI.  I then placed my PB "Perfect Pear" on my paper,  closed my MISTI to have an exact placement for repeat stamping of my pear.

I used SU markers to color my pear image stamp.  Then spritzed with water and stamped onto my paper.  I used a #4 paint brush to move the wet ink around on the image.  I then stamped the pear again with the remaining wet ink on the stamp.  Again moving the ink with the paint brush.

When completely dry I masked the pear image with the pear that I had stamped on copy paper and fussy cut.  I then inked my SU French Script in Crumb Cake and stamped for my text background.  Then removed my mask.

I added splatters with diluted Soft Suede using my paint brush.  Die cut my piece with my CUTplorations  "Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting medium Die.  My last step..adding my sentiment that I heat embossed with Early Espresso eb powder and sponged with Crumb Cake.

I am really pleased with the results of my loose flowing image.

Thank you for visiting..you have until November 24th to join our CAS Watercolour Text Challenge.  I sure hope you can join the fun :-)
